Nord-Pas-de-Calais
The region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais is the most North-Easterly region in France, bordering Belgium, and comprises the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais.
It is the closest French region to England, with several channel ports as well as the entrance to the Channel Tunnel. Tourism in the region, especially around Lille where the London - Brussels - Paris railway lines converge, has grown considerably since the opening of the tunnel.

The house is quietly situated in a pleasant garden just outside Le Touquet, two kilometres from the beach. Le Touquet (1.5 kms) lies at the mouth of the river Canche surrounded by woodland and is a lively, elegant town with lots of shops and restaurants, casinos, cinemas and sporting facilities with a pretty seafront promenade.
