Picardie
The Picardie region in Northern France is comprised of the departments Somme (80), Oise (60) and Aisne (02).
The northern part of the region is mainly agricultural, with the southern area (being closer to Paris) having more commerce and industry. Tourism is not a major feature of Picardie, and this region is largely ignored by tourists (even french ones!). It does have some very attractive areas, though, especially the coastal areas, and there are numerous first World War sites to visit..
