The Domaine de Vernou lies in a thousand acre estate in the heart of the Loire Valley about 4 km from Langeais, which lies on the banks of the River Loire, 28 kms downstream from Tours. The beauty of the Loire with its fine châteaux and ancient walled towns, its rich cuisine and the vineyards that produce some of the country’s most famous wines, is legendary. Visits to the vineyards at Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur and Vouvray are welcomed. We will be happy to help with anything you need to know.
1 bedroom, sleeps 2, 3 or 4 people.
Vau Godet is privately situated away from the manor house and a comfortable base from which to explore the region, work undisturbed, or simply relax, contemplate and do some fishing. In front of the cottage is a lake, about a hectare in size, which is reserved exclusively for our guests. The lake has mainly tench, pike, perch and roach, a row boat is provided and there are a maximum of four places to fish from to ensure a peaceful environment. There is no charge and no license is necessary.
Our members sometimes list their holiday rental properties on a number of different websites and so it is perfectly understandable that property listings occasionally become out of date. In order to prevent disappointment, please ensure that you verify any details with the owner themselves before booking your holiday.
